Handpainted unknowns

We are regularly seeing hand-painted items with a Midwinter stamp on the base,
and more often than not, initials. Some are brilliantly painted others not so well done.
Where these items are not known it is difficult to
verify them as being genuine Midwinter because we know that the factory quite
often sold blanks to the general public. They even, on occasion, glazed and fired the
items after they had been painted.
With this in mind, we have added some of the items we/you have come across.
